PEI National Park and Historic Sites and Pituamkek National Park Reserve
Co-Management Boards
L’nuey, on behalf of the Epekwitk Assembly of Councils, and Parks Canada, are inviting people to express interest in becoming a co-management board member.
Two five-person co-management boards are being established to provide advice to the Mi’kmaq Epekwitnewaq Kapmntemuow (the Mi’kmaq Nation Government of PEI made up of Chiefs and Council from Lennox Island and Abegweit First Nations) and Parks Canada.
One board is being established for the Pituamkek National Park Reserve and the other for the PEI National Park and the following Parks Canada-administered National Historic Sites (NHS): Province House NHS, Ardgowan NHS, Dalvay-by-the-Sea NHS, Skmaqn — Port-la-Joye — Fort Amherst NHS and Green Gables Heritage Place.
