On November 5, 2022, we came together as a Nation to hold our second-ever Maw-Lukuti’kw, our Nationhood Gathering. It was a chance to celebrate our progress as Epekwitnewaq Mi’kmaq as we move toward a future where our rights are advanced, implemented, and protected.
As we take this moment to appreciate how far we’ve come together, let’s also remember we have further to go. We all have a role to play in creating a better, brighter tomorrow where Mi’kmaq thrive on Epekwitk. So, get engaged, have your voice heard, and be part of creating a brighter future for generations to come.
