Education and awareness of Mi’kmaw rights and culture is essential to supporting and advancing Mi’kmaw rights and to reconciliation as a whole. When people understand the history, the law, and the lived reality of Mi’kmaw communities, rights are harder to dismiss, distort, or deny.
L’nuey prioritizes clear, accessible communication because informed people drive change.
Aboriginal & Treaty Rights
Aboriginal and Treaty Rights are living rights, protected in Canada’s Constitution, and central to the Epekwitnewaq Mi’kmaq’s role as the original stewards of this land.
